Bad Movie Night:  Everyone seems too wrapped up in seeing the best films out there -- the "can't miss this one" films. Forget those. B Movie Reviews:  An award winning site desperately dedicated to reviewing B-type movies.

BeatBoxBetty's Movie Reviews:  Takes an irreverent look at Tinseltown with celebrity sightings, movie reviews, and gossip.

BeyondHollywood.com:  Offering Asian, foreign, horror, and genre movie reviews and news from around the world and an occasional bit of Hollywood.

Big Movie Zone:  Includes original, streaming clips with exclusive footage, plus original reviews, interviews, articles, and columns, trailers, behind-the-scenes clips, and more. Also, the site includes updated film listings for every Giant Screen theatre worldwide, with maps and driving directions throughout the US, and direct links to online ticket purchase wherever available. BMZ has mini-web sites for every Giant Screen Film ever made, linked to and from theatre pages.

Blackflix.com:  This site was started as an African American alternative to the standard fare of movie reviews and web sites that impersonally and consistently overlook the contributions of Black stars, film makers, directors, writers and other Black film professionals. Through the committed effort of two award winning authors and editors, Laurence Washington and Jim Stevens, Blackflix.com has become a respected part of the entertainment community. At Blackflix.com the vision of the two partners is simple: to continue developing the best, black theme movie web site on the internet.

Blunt Review:  Emily Blunt began Blunt Review as a mission of love. Tired of mean spirited-tell-all-rag-on-everything reviews by power hungry critics, that droned on and on about the where's and what's of a film's errors and faults, she decided to accentuate the positive. She's blunt and fair. Unless of course a movie really sucks then hell has no fury like a Blunt verbal attack.

Bright Lights Film Journal:  A popular-academic hybrid of movie analysis, history, and commentary, looking at classic and commercial, independent, exploitation, and international film from a wide range of vantage points from the aesthetic to the political.

Buried.com:  Horror movies reviewed....the number of reviews on this site has broken 1000. Worth a visit if you are a fan of horror movies.

Choice Reviews:  The movie review sites choice review looks at the leading movie review sites and reviews the best choices available.

Cinema in Focus:  Good cinema, is not just entertaining, but is most often the presentation of people struggling with the deeper issues of life. These struggles are universal. The framing of the struggles with descriptions and solutions is the genius of the cinematographer. Whether people are avid movie buffs, or just occasionally view a film on television, the fact is that the movies today impact the values throughout the world in a way never before possible.

CinemaSense.com:  This site offers reviews that seek a perspective most sympathetic to appreciating a film’s meaning and significance. They will discuss the faults and gee whiz stuff; remark on the directors, writers, actors, and the like, but primarily, wish to share what they get out of the films. You may disagree. You may agree.

Cold Spot, The:  This site is a forum for people to tell others what they think about horror films. You can read the opinions of others about a film, post your own thoughts, or do other things. Basically, it's intended to expose people to films they may never have heard of and might be interested in.

Crazy For Cinema:  An astounding list of well written film reviews.

Critic Doctor:  A site that features a unique and fun weekly column. While there are hundreds of movie reviewers on the internet and in various other media, Critic Doctor specializes in reviewing the movie critics themselves. Many movie critics don't always make sense and frankly they need a Critic Doctor.

Dark Horizons:  An absolutely sterling review site. Capsules and rated reviews.

Darkweb Online:  Horror movie reviews.

Eccentric Cinema:  Cult movie reviews. This website is a true labor of love, not a business venture. EC's only compensation is the commission fees earned from sales of DVDs, videos and books purchased via the links provided.

FilmCritic.com:  One of the oldest and certainly the liveliest film and movie review destination on the Web! Founded in 1995, Filmcritic.com hosts more than 7,000 movie reviews and feature stories contributed by 20-some critics located throughout the world.

Film Papers:  Papers, Reviews and Criticism of Film. Filmpapers.com has hundreds of film reviews, film critiques, and papers analyzing the art of cinema.

Films Outside the Loop:  These reviews are dedicated to those films that most of the world missed including offbeat Indie films and black comedy movies that are now available on video or cable.  These are films that did not have wide distribution and you may have missed these movies when they were released.  If you enjoy dark comedy and independent films, now is your chance to catch them on video or cable.

Flicker:  Home page for the alternative cinematic experience. Here you will find films and videos that transgress the boundaries of the traditional viewing experience, challenge notions of physical perception and provide cutting edge alternatives to the media information technocracy.

Independent Critics:  This site is intended to be a fun place for all movie-goers to visit where they can read three film lover's opinions on all the new releases and browse comments and ratings on over 1500 classic films from the birth of cinema to the present day.

JoBlo's Movie Emporium:  Reviews, trailers, scripts, trivia quizzes, screensavers, and wallpapers.

Kids-In-Mind:  A site that with movie ratings that actually work.

Lee's Movie Info:  An excellent review site. Up to date, and offering quality reviews.

Lotta Reviews:  Lotta's worked as a journalist and TV producer in New York City for many years before testing the waters in Los Angeles. Since moving West, she's acted and directed extensively in theatres. She's a writer of screenplays, short stories, poems and magazine articles.

Metacritic:  A fast and effective way to get quick consensus of critical opinion, or to read all the reviews individually on a movie.

Movees.com:  Offers movie reviews and games, with a bovine twist - they grade movies using bottles of milk instead of stars.

Movie Gazette:  An excellent U.K. movie review site. The prime content area of Movie Gazette is a rapidly growing portfolio of reviews. The reviews which appear on Movie Gazette are all original, unique and written specifically for this site. Experienced professional journalists, their reviewers are briefed to write reviews which are concise and to the point.

Movies For Guys:  Is a site dedicated to movies guys like to see. We're talking about movies with lots of action, babes, comedy and the occasional drama as well (who didn't like Braveheart?) Reviews are done in a lighter style that you may be used to if you normally just look at reviews in your local paper, or watch a certain show about movies on TV.

Movie Hole:  Showbiz updates, interviews, and reviews of cinema, DVD, and video in Australia and America.

Movie Martyr.Com:  Amateur movie reviewer. Includes both recent and old movies.

Movie Source:  Previews, pictures, and trailers for past, present, and upcoming movies

Mr. Cranky Rates the Movies:  Before you head to the movies this weekend, be sure to consult Mr. Cranky for the lowdown on what's playing. Whether it's a comedy, drama or action-adventure film, Mr. Cranky can provide myriad detail as to why the movie, to quote the film school term, "sucks." Ok, so he's predictable.

Not Coming to a Theater Near You:  Includes reviews of forgotten, unusual, and obscure movies.

Raging Bull Movie Reviews:  Reviews of classic, foreign, & independent films.

Reel McCoy, The:  Quality movie reviews by Patrick McCoy.

Rotten Tomatoes:  Created by movie-buff Senh Duong, Rotten Tomatoes was originally launched on August 18, 1998. It features a growing selection of movie reviews and regularly updated news for moviegoers.

Rough Cut Reviews:  One visit will let you know that the reviews are excellent and the movies reviewed are pure entertainment.

Scene4u.com:  At Scene 4 u, the aim is to provide simple and straight forward reviews that will not take you hours to read and not require a degree in film studies to understand.

Stomp Tokyo:  Video reviews, mainly B movies.

TheMovieBox.Net:  Featuring movie news, trailers, film spotlights, and more about upcoming and current releases.
